Spring, with its sense of new life and joy, offers many beautiful flower varieties. At Oxåker, we love working with the queens of spring, Anemone and Ranunculus. They are delicate and absolutely wonderful. The flowers come in several different colours and are therefore suitable for virtually all wedding themes. We also like other spring flowers such as Swedish-grown Tulips and Daffodils.

As summer approaches, there are more varieties to choose from. The majestic Peony and the cute Lady's Slipper make their entrance. Together with their friends lily of the valley, cornflower and clergyman's breeches, they bloom at many summer weddings. Wonderful all round and a joy to behold.

As summer draws to a close and autumn arrives, the crops of beautiful Dahlias and colourful Sunflowers explode. These majestic flowers are beautiful protagonists. Lovely and fighting for attention with big and stately Hydrangea and Gladiolus.

The Swedish winter doesn't offer too many naturally growing flowers, so you have to rely on foreign growers. For example, the delicate Tulip tends to appear towards the end of winter. These are often associated with their flowering friends Waxflower and Christmas Rose.

Oxåker favours Swedish-grown flowers as far as possible, both because we care about the Swedish working climate but also for the environment of course.
If you need to buy imported, there are some classic favourites that are available all year round. Our favourites are snapdragons, carnations, roses and limonium.
Book We would be happy to organise a free consultation to go over all your wishes for your big day.
